AIHA's Exposure Decision Analysis Registry-A Critical Step in OEHS Professional Development (AIHce EXP 2023 OnDemand)

Course Description:
Recorded at AIHce EXP 2023

As OEHS practitioners our ability to protect workers is dependent on our ability to make accurate exposure risk decisions. If our decisions are wrong, we may leave workers inadequately protected, or waste limited resources. To ensure accurate exposure risk decision making, It is critical we develop our knowledge and validate our skills. AIHA's Exposure Decision Analysis (EJA) Registry is a unique free resource available to all OEHS practitioners. This tool provides OEHS professionals an independent assessment of their competency and skills performance while providing the knowledge necessary to make accurate exposure decisions and manage exposure uncertainty. The assessment is composed of two parts: 1) a multiple-choice section that focuses on relevant general knowledge areas; and 2) a multiple-choice section based on interpretation of supplied data sets. Join us in this education session to learn: 1) more about AIHA's EJA Registry, 2) how to prepare for the Registry examination, and 3) why it should be used by all OEHS practitioners, no matter their specialty (IH, OH, S, E), degree (Associate, BS, MS, PhD), certification (CSP, CIH, QEP), or experience level (new graduate, early career, seasoned professional).

Learning Outcomes:
