Five Common Difficulties in Real Time Detection System Implementation (AIHce EXP 2023 OnDemand)

Course Description:
Recorded at AIHce EXP 2023

Real-time detection systems hold tremendous potential in improving exposure decision analytics. However, as the complexity of real-time detection system implementation increases, so does the potential for significant setbacks and difficulties. This session discusses: 1) five common difficulties that the OEHS professional may encounter when planning deployment of a real-time detection system; and 2) how to address potential challenges to help OEHS professionals and organizations in anticipating and overcoming difficulties in real-time detection systems design and implementation.

Learning Outcomes:
Upon completion of the session, the participant will be able to:

• Explain the purpose of alarms and alarm setting logic.
• Describe common difficulties.
• Anticipate strategies for mitigating challenges faced during system design.
• Identify key stakeholders for RTDS system design.
