After the Wildfires — Managing Large-Scale Cleanup Operations

The unprecedented scale of destruction caused by the 2020 Oregon wildfires required urgent response in the face of daunting challenges. This session will describe how industrial hygienists can play a critical role during the assessment and cleanup of thousands of properties as part of government-funded disaster response operations. Effective response requires sophisticated tools to collect, manage, and report data in addition to technical industrial hygiene expertise.
