OEHS Professionals as ESG Leaders in the Post-2020 Era (AIHce EXP 2022 OnDemand)

Course Description:
Recorded at AIHce EXP 2022

ESG (environment, social, corporate governance) capital issues were amplified with events of 2020. The U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) recently adopted a rule requiring public companies report on human capital management. This increased attention on the social and the human has pointed to a need for more awareness and skills needed to navigate the post-2020 landscape. This education session will review: 1) the evolution of ESG ideas and reporting practices, 2) incorporating ESG reporting into integrated- and capitals-thinking practices, 3) integrated risk decision making processes, 4) advances by the Capitals Coalition, related to OEHS, human health and well-being, 5) OEHS professionals' leadership roles and skills needed. A roundtable discussion between the speakers and audience will facilitate the learning experience.
